Meet the Doctor
Dr. Muduli graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Biology and then went on to University of Medicine & Dentistry where he obtained his D.M.D. in 2001. He then completed his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers, NY in 2005. He received his certification from the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2007. He maintains a solo private practice and is on staff at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ and Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Centers in Paterson, NJ. He also dedicates his time to the community by spending time at the NJ Dental School as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Oral Surgery Department and is a member the Executive Committee for the State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
You are being referred to our office because your dentist or physician feels that you will receive the highest level of care in a gentle and pain free manner. Dr. Muduli took the practice over in 2008 and is located in Oakland, NJ. The office has been in existence for 25 years and continues to serve the regional community.
Among the services offered are wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, dental extractions, apico procedures, biopsies, cosmetic procedures (Restylane, Botox, Latisse), conservative TMJ therapy, treatment for sleep apnea, and intravenous sedation for the anxious patient. Hospital procedures include maxillofacial trauma and pathology reconstruction and orthognathic (jaw repositioning) surgery.
Dr. Muduli has advanced training in dental implantology and bone grafting. Implant therapy has become the standard of care to replace teeth. Today, implants are a safe and painless procedure with a very high success rate. Implants can be used to replace single teeth or be used for removable denture support. Full mouth reconstruction with implant retained bridgework is also an attractive option for many patients.
Dr. Muduli now uses a state of the art diode laser to perform laser assisted implant recovery surgeries and orthodontic exposures of impacted teeth. The use of a diode laser helps accelerate tissue healing and prevents bleeding. Patients benefit in many ways when the surgeon can offer the use of a laser for treatment that also includes removal of oral lesions and ulcers, bleaching of teeth, periodontal debridement of gingival pockets, and excision of any excessive soft tissue in the oral cavity.
Dr. Muduli resides in Bergen County, NJ. He enjoys spending time with his German shepherd, Parker. He also enjoys running, baseball, and lacrosse. Dr. Muduli was a midfielder who played Division 3 collegiate lacrosse at University Of Rochester in 1992-1996. He enjoys assistant coaching for summer lacrosse leagues in his spare time and occasionally donates his time to a local food kitchen for the homeless.
